The 2019 theme for Women’s History Month is “Visionary Women: Champions of Peace and Nonviolence”.
During lunch hour on March 21st at 12pm come and have lunch in the library and watch PBS movie Independent Lens: Kind Hearted Woman by David Sutherland.
Synopsis: This film follows Robin Charboneau, a magnetic 31-year-old Oglala Sioux woman living on the Spirit Lake Reservation in North Dakota. In sharing her story, this documentary will portray the realities of what it means to be a contemporary Native American woman living in two worlds.
